D.I.Y. reading pillow for rainy days

I’m not sure if this really is handy, but hey, it’s cute! A pillow to hold your book on your lap and strap the pages down, so that you have your hands free to

  1. take a sip from your cool drink,
  2. tie a ribbon in a toddlers ponytail,
  3. feed the baby a banana

It would also make a great gift for booklovers. Especially if they live in a rainy climate and you make it with this great fabric. It’s called “April Showers” from Alexander Henry:

— you can find both the pattern and the fabrics and Volksfaden, here and here! —

  3. Hi, hi, moet je niet te snel lezen anders moet je elke keer de bladzijde onder het bandje frummelen. Maar wel uber-cute!
