Jet is turning 1 (one, één, uno, Eins, uno, une, satu) in about a month. I’m really busy (with stuff like rebuilding a worn-out house, opening up an Etsy shop, designing the 3rd collection for Homemade Happiness and setting up a campaign for Ozowiezo) and besides, as long as we dind’t move house yet, we won’t be able to throw a really big fancy party anyway. So poor Jet will have to celebrate first ever birthday in a (really nice, old fashioned and super cute) outdoor playground. But hey, there will always be cake! And where there’s cake, there’s cake toppers… And I think this specific cake topper is reallllllly nice! Best thing is: it holds exactly the right amount of candles for Jet to blow out…

But at 40 USD it’s a little over budget for me. And anyway, Jet will be celebrating her birthday in Homemade Happiness style – I’m already printing the Happy Little Dwarves birthday set for her!

De leukste verjaardagen zijn buiten de deur
Isis heur 1e verjaardag deden we in de kinderboerderij. Erg leuk, vooral voor al die grote neefjes en nichtjes die langskwamen! En met een beetje geluk heb jij nog prachtig weer ook.
Hee, de kinderboerderij – ook een idee! Alleen stopt Jet alles wat ze op de grond tegenkomt, in haar mond. Dan heb ik liever dat ze op een grasveld zit, dan in een wei waar geitjes ronddartelen
