Yesterday we had our fourth shoot for Homemade Happiness! I really love being at these shoots, working with Henk (my most favourite photographer in the world) and Caroline (my most favourite collega in the world) and yesterday was great too. We took 10 beautiful pictures of our new collection, which is focussed on new born babies. Here you see some shots taken with my own camera:

What really amazes to me, is the difference between the set itself (messy, chaotic and not glamourous at all) and the actual picture of it: beautiful, light, glamourous, like a picture in a glossy magazine.

Example: for the picture with the flowers,we spend half an hour adding and taking flowers from the vases. Cutting of the stems to make it look very natural and nochalant. The floor was covered with water and stems and leaves, there was a big studio light standing in the middle of the room and the window was covered with white sheets to filter the light. All of that added up to a beautiful picture of a nonchalant vase with flowers and our cute spring birdies on a day in early spring- amazing!

Thanks Henk and Caroline, for another great shoot! Monday we will photograph the items, this time with models. I’m looking forward to it, especially since one of them is only 3 months old and really, really cute
