My kids love tents. I’m talking about indoor tents here, not actual tents out in the field (well, they’ll probably love those too, but they have never really experienced one, poor things).
This morning I read Babyccino’s newsletter and found these great colourful pegs, from Mommy Toolbox. On their site I also found a lovely idea, called Tent in a Bag: a piece of fabric and 4 pegs which you can use on the stroller, to protect your baby from sunshine, to make tents on-the-go or just at home. I don’t really like the tye-and-dye fabric, but that can easily be replaced by something a little cuter, right? It’s the idea that counts and that I really like!
It reminded me of Lena’s super cute DIY hut, which I made a year ago from cute wooden pegs and a nice, big piece of vintage fabric and which fits perfectly in a sweet little suitcase. I really should bring it down from the attic, so she can build her own hut with her friends…
— like it too! Go check Mommy’s Toolbox for your own Tent-in-a-Bag, here! Like the idea, not so much the fabric? Read my 1st blog on DIY tents, for wooden pegs and the perfect adress for cute fabrics, here! —
