About a year ago, Lena fell in love with a play toaster she spotted in the window of a children’s daycare center. Not her own, unfortunately, so she wasn’t able to play with it. Every time we passed the street where the daycare (and the toaster) stood, she begged me to take a look – which can be really annoying when you’re carrying 2 bags of grocery and a fullgrown baby. Eventually we just had to move to another city
If I hadn’t moved, I would probably have begged my mother in law to make Lena this beautiful pretend play toaster! It’s pretty AND it comes with a poppy seed bagel (with removable cream cheese), little square waffles (with separate syrup & butter), to a chocolate iced toaster pastry (with a vanilla drizzle on top)… mmm, yummie…
The PDF will set you back only 4 euro’s, which is much less than a plastic-not-so-fantastic toaster at Intertoys. And, since it’s DIY, you can choose the colours that you like best. Which in our case would be pink for the toaster and red for the handle!
