This lovely little guy has been living in our home for about 5 years now. I can’t remember where I found him, but I do recall it was love at first sight - I’m a sucker for big ears
So Mr. Big Ears has been around for a long time, without us knowing who [...]

Really really really like this video from Trendwatching!
Especially the first two bits: these show how people from all over the world (and yes, also from Amsterdam!) were thinking about blogging (2004) and Twitter (2008)… hilarious: “Twitter, what is twitter? Is that a term? I hope I’m not doing it right now…”

Did you like it? And, [...]

I know, I’m the last in the whole wide world to finally own an i-phone.. So if I’m boring you with these great free downloadable screensavers: sorry! Anyhow, you can download them at Lumadessa, here (did I mention: for free?). Now excuse me, I’m going to try to make an American GoldFinch sing everytime someone [...]

Just read this and wheep:

Parents may feel entitled to leave work early now and then so as to accommodate the needs of their children, but that doesn’t mean their childless coworkers will agree. Aiming to bring the same benefits to the grumbling employees left behind is The Office Kid, a New York company that provides [...]

Love this video! It was made by Roman Kanatnikov of Tasty Stories. I especially like the song (which I think is in Russian!).

Found this great video via Kirtsy, here. The Fun Theory is an iniative by a group op Swedes who believe that ‘the easiest way to change people’s behaviour for the better is by making it fun to do.’ I’m a believer too - and these films are the proof!

Spring is coming! Soon the sun will be bright and warm and maybe this will be you, dancing in the park with strangers, having a really good time… If not, just watch the video and have a great time right now!

‘17 things I made’ is a short movie made by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. It’s all about appreciating yourself and the things you accomplished, even if it’s only a peanutbutter sandwich. Just sit back, watch this movie and take some time to think about all the things you made so far, small and great. Then watch [...]
